My art

My art is characterized by a free visual research with a contemporary direction, because I prefer to activate different styles with a multitude of expressive languages. Freedom of expression is crucial to channel any research using any technique, adapting it to the best identified representative language. Through visual research, a new interdisciplinarity is inevitably activated, simultaneously intersecting particular representative techniques with alternative compositional structures even if they belong to different artistic periods. So I consider the contemporary aspect an exceptional representative opportunity that allows me to apply an informal brushstroke in a geometric composition or to shade chromatic combinations in a static portrait setting and adapt everything to digital intelligence or contemporary photography. Adherence to any contemporary artistic issues is taken for granted; social/political/religious/free from any geographical boundary and with the contemporary visual language of free setting. The path I took with the above-mentioned premises had an easy continuation thanks to my interiority. Basically I define myself as a versatile artist, mainly because I am restless with a constant inner agitation that inevitably pushes me to continuously explore new forms of expression.                      Petrucci Pasquale
